Some Real Quick Thoughts... 28APR08

Had to go to the hospital for a PHA... I was way overdue.... I weigh 215lbs..... weighed 165lbs when I got to Basic Training... fat f*ck!.... they always want a urine sample from me... I wonder if they are testing it or just looking at my d*ck on camera while I pee.... very unnerving.... there is this little girl in the library who is sooooo tone deaf it isn't funny.... mommy.... MOMMY!!!... I just went APE SH*T on one website downloading songs.... I new joy of mine.... I leave to go to Savannah this Wednesday... f*cking 12 hour shifts for a week.... just got back in contact with my girl Val... its been like 7 years!... we are definitely going out for drinks when I come home in July... well that's about all for now

Here's Our Idea

So myself and Marcum came up with the idea that we will one day produce a slavery movie....as a comedy.

I know what you're thinking "what the f*ck is wrong with them boys?!?" But listen.... we were thinking that we as Black people should be able to take anything hurtful... internalize it and spit it back out as something we can laugh at. Myself? I laugh so much because its that or cry all the time. My life hasn't been perfect but I know people have had worse so I don't complain too much.

So anyway... a couple of scenes we came up with were the slave roll call where we invented a smart-dumb slave who keeps finding ways to get himself whipped. Example: all the slaves file in for roll call in a room similar to an old classroom. On the chalkboard there is written "ALL SLAVES MUST REMOVE HATS AND PLACE THEM ON THEIR DESK UPON ENTERING THIS ROOM". Nobody does this except one smart/dumb slave in the back of the room. Master walks in and says to him "why you got your hat on the desk, boy?" The slave says because the chalkboard says so.....cut directly to him getting whipped while all the other slaves just shake their heads.

That's just one of the fine scenes from our yet untitled....also very much unwritten movie.

Get To Know... Damon Part 3

And away we goooooo.....

Damon loves..... LRG clothing. I buy something from them probably every time I get paid.

Damon's mother.... is half African-American and half Trinidadian. Me? I guess that makes me a quarter... maybe.

Damon's favorite... video game is a toss up between Smash Bros and NBA2K whatever year is current. Real basketball! Not that fake NBA Live sh*t!

Damon has a secret crush on.... AMY! Naw she's a good friend though... who reads my blog and takes everything I say to heart. :) So I put that there to see how nosy she really is.

Damon's first... bike was a royal blue Huffy. I must've fell off that thing a 1000 times. I rode that b*tch till the wheels fell off... no really! The wheels literally fell off.

Damon's first kiss... was when I was 8 years old. This girl nicknamed "Ketchup" kissed me and said I was her boyfriend. She was an older woman.... she was 9. hahahaha

Damon's friend Mikey.... is the most country person you might ever meet! That dude is the South!

Damon... once picked cotton on a field trip in elementary school. My Grandma had a f*cking hissy fit.... now that I think about it... it was called a "field" trip... the irony...the IRONY!

Damon.... once gave his pit bull a stack of creatine.... that muthaf*cka got sooooo big! I couldn't even walk him. He looked great though.

Another Lazy Weekend

So I worked 5 10hr days last week. So when Friday finally comes I'm pretty amped for the weekend.

But once again....disappointment. Nothing happens. I basically just hang out in my room, go to the gym and listen to music.

I can't even distinguish between the weeks now. It seems like I've seen the Weekend Update every other day. Saturday rolls around quick as hell! Its not like I'm not trying to find things to do. Its just that everybody round here... lives round here! So they bounce to the house and disappear for the weekend. I guess I should try to find other stuff to do huh?

I just stopped wanting to write this blog.... sorry bout that.

The Greatest Hip Hop Album Of All Time

In my personal opinion this is the greatest hip hop album of all time.

Yes its OutKast's Aquemini! You may say how would this be considered the greatest hip hop album of all time? Well here's a little background info on myself. I grew up in the South, I first started really listening to hip hop when Goodie Mob released Soul Food and I think that there isn't a better music group in my generation.

First thing, look at the cover art. Me being an artist I have to love a hand drawn cover over just another photo shoot one. Then there is the very original album name. It defines this LP very well. It was an emergence of Andre 3000's style and the blending of it with Big Boi.... even more so than on ATLiens[another great album]. On songs like Da Art of Storytelling, Rosa Parks, Spottieottiedopalicious and Liberation they show why "the South got something to say."

This is a LP you listen to from front to back and you don't need to skip a track...believe that!

Get To Know... Damon Part 2

So where was I...

Damon loves... Butter Pecan ice cream. Pea-can not Pee-con. I am from the country.

Damon watches.... old episodes of Sanford and Son and still laughs his ass off. The Simpsons too.

Damon doesn't... like to say what he really feels. I'm trying to do better about that but I don't want to get hurt or hurt someone.

Damon once... had a crush on two girls at the same time. I didn't end up with either one :(

Damon's mama... said he was a 10lb baby. I think she's lying though.

Damon wants... to have two kids of his own. My dad thinks I should go ahead and have them now. Well dad, you gotta find a girl for that.... just sayin. Besides you already have two grand kids with your greedy ass!

Damon has... a Auntie named Ms Ruby who is sooooo damn nosy! Sweet lady but a little off.

Damon's favorite... male cousins are Peanut, Toccaro, Johnnie and Sherrod.

Damon's favorite... female cousins are Karen, Ciara and Breanna.

Damon has... very long arms for his body. I'm 6'2" but my reach measures 6'6".

Damon has... size 13 feet. My mama and daddy both wear a size 12 in men's. Weird!

Damon once... got in a fight with his step-father. I was choking him til he started throwing up and turning purple. My mama had to make me release him.

Damon's grandmother... used to sneak him money and tell him not to tell his mama. She wouldn't let me refuse it. If I was going out, she'd slip me $40 or more.

Damon's grandfather... died when he was 12 yrs old. I still consider him the greatest man I ever knew. Try hard to be like him. The original Sgt. Wilkerson

Damon has... never cheated on a girlfriend. Not too sure about vice versa.

Damon sleeps... in basketball shorts and t-shirt. Never naked!

Damon's cousins and friends... call him Boom. My grandfather gave me the nickname Boomer after the University Maryland quarterback. Then my friends shorten it to Boom. They still call me that to this day.

Damon is known... for his ability to draw. My family always asks if I still do.

Damon's favorite person... from Basic training is Diaz. I call him Captain cause he always seemed like a Officer to me.

Damon's favorite person... from Tech School is Reannon. I still talk to her daily.

Damon once made... a sh*t list in Tech School. There were people on it who deserved to be!

Damon has... no allergies. Pollen? Dust? Smoke? Food? Not a problem!

Get To Know... Damon Part 1

Well here we are... the real essence of blogging. To anyone who reads this, you are about to get to know Damon aka myself a little better....so if you don't want to....DON'T READ THIS!


Damon is... 24 years old and his birthday is October 15th.

Damon has... one half-brother named LJ aka John Jr. and one sister, who is really has cousin but my father raised her as his daughter. Her name is Nica aka Dwunica... yeah I can't say it either.

Damon's... mother's name is Wanda aka Wanda Bean. His father's name is John aka Shorty. His step-mother's name is Palma aka PB.

Damon has had... numerous dogs in his life. Some of my favorites are Max(chow chow/German Sheppard mix) , Petey(pit bull), Maxine(chow chow), Mickey(pit bull).

Damon has... broken only one bone in his body. My jaw when I was 16yrs. I passed out from having the flu and fell face first on the edge of a coffee table. Still got a small scar.

Damon favorite sport.... is basketball. Watching and playing. I'm pretty good too. Weird thing is I dunk left-handed but I'm right-handed.

Damon's favorite music group.... is Outkast. I also listen to Goodie Mob, Killer Mike, TI, Ludacris, The Roots, Lupe Fiasco and more and more stuff.

Damon has... a lot of sneakers. I lost count round 100. adidas, Nike, and And1.

Damon's best friend is... Marcum depending on who ask. Amy would say its her.... but I don't believe her she needs more people.

Damon grew up... in Hopkins, SC. Right across the street from the horse stables.

Damon has been to... the following states South Carolina, North Carolina, Maryland, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Ohio, Georgia, West Virgina, and Virgina.

Damon loves.... drawing. I also hate drawing. Its kinda weird cause I like to finish a project but hate to start then realize it may take longer than I thought before.

Watching Family Guy... Does Not Make You Cool!

So before someone has a asthma attack, let me explain. When I say watching the show doesn't make you cool I mean that just because you can quote the episodes like my auntie quotes the Bible, doesn't mean you are a fan. To all the people who have whole conversations in Family Guy quotes... STOP THAT SH*T!

Its annoying and people who really enjoyed the show think its just retarded. These are the same people who weren't watching the show when it first came out. Back when my mama watched because she said the baby was a "trip". Even she thinks that people who watch it now don't really know any better. Its the same as a person who says they are such an old school Simpsons fan.... but don't know that Smithers was originally Black....Google that sh*t!

I don't mind if you enjoy this cartoon. By all means watch it! We wouldn't want it to get cancelled again.... oh? You didn't know it got cancelled before? actually it was twice.... never had a clue huh? So you thought it was a new cartoon? Hmmmm
