Its been about 2, maybe 2 1/2 years since I've said the N-word. I guess you can say in a couple more I won't ever have to worry about myself saying it ever again. It really isn't hard to do. You just think a little more before you speak. You kinda use a better thought process.
Anyway....
Does it bother anyone else when someone who isn't Black uses the word? I know people who are Latino and they use it like its nothing. Then there are White boys who use it, but its weird because they call each other the N-word. Two White guys calling each other the N-word. Next you'll tell me that Black people will go around calling each other "crackers". That is just wrong.
Sometimes, I think I might possibility care about my people too much but not enough to really do something. What the Hell can a blog really do to change anything?
I just hope that if you are reading this you at least take a moment to wonder, can we win the war by winning one battle at a time? I also challenge you to try and go one whole day out in public without saying the N-word once. Just one day. Cause one can turn to two, then three, then the next thing you know....2 years!
