My Year in Review(Ticker Version).....UNCENSORED!

My year, my 2007 went a lot like other years in my life lots of highs and even more lows...lots of lows! So without father delay...



Was up in DC til early March....then something happened and I went down to Maryland with my family....shit happens, right Ali?....spent a month in Maryland....had time to really lay low and relax my soul....DC like hell compared to the country life of Maryland....came back to SC in early April....big shout out to RJ for letting a brotha crash for 2 weeks....I knew the shit Amy said about you wasn't true....left in late April for Texas for Basic training....6 1/2 weeks of mind games...I made it through that without a scratch.....mental? not so much...lack of sleep I guess...then it was off to Tech School...Sheppard AFB.....lots of school, sweating, early morning PT, bullshit, drinking, and "almost had, had sex"....still had fun though...and I have friends for life from there....then after graduating I made what I call "My Longest Trip Outta Texas"....shout out to Amy....we had fun in Austin.....gotta do that again sometime soon....ROOFTOP BABY!!!!....went home and chilled for two weeks...then my Pops drove me out to Georgia to report to my base...

Stacks On Deck....Shoes I Ain't Got Yet

First up are the Jordan Ol'Skool. I really like how they mix another shoe with the Jordan II to make this one. Gotta get'em in the classic Bulls' colors.

Next a shoe company people might have never heard of before. They call themselves K1X and this is their signature shoe, the Chiefglider. I already have a pair(black/red) and people swear that they are Jordans. Actually they are just as comfortable as Js. They also have all kinds of materials on them(suede, terry cloth, tumble leather, etc.). These are the Ron Artest versions...I'm not a Ron-Ron fan but the colorway is just so nice to me.

Finally the Dunks! I gotta get some more Dunks. I made some on Nikeid that I know no one round here would have. Simple but special in their own way. They aren't in the colors in this picture. *TOP SECRET*

Random Shots pt.5

So far I've seen my mama for a total of 12 minutes.....I did get two gifts for Christmas.....a wallet since I'm caking up now....and a bottle of my favorite cologne....armani.....could've went to Charlotte today on two different occasions...one to shop and the other to party.....I did neither......my trip home hasn't been very fulfilling so far......haven't played ball.....gone to a good party......seen some of the people I wanted to see the most......had....well that wasn't gonna happen anyway......shout out to my boy Mikey...LEVELS muthaf*cka!!!.....shout out to Chill...we gone show and prove.......BOO!!! to Wolf.....beef never gets cooked round here....NEVER......smash yo head to the white meat.....lol.....to those I didn't get up with....maybe next time.....next next time.....

Old School FINE!!!

By all definitions the woman who represents old school FINE in my opinion is, drum roll please...............Thelma from Good Times!

Her real name is Bernadette Stanis and she has to be the sexy woman on TV from that time period. Think about it. She is still beautiful by today's standards. Even at her age now she still is sexy. Like a Pam Grier kinda model. My dad still makes a comment about how she looks every time we watch Good Times. Imagine how he felt when he was growing up and watching the show! I got a crush on her and I'm too young to ever have watched the show when the episodes were new.



Anyway, she wins the award for FINE BY DESIGN......now a round of applause!

Santa Don't Love Me No More!!!

So I arrive in SC after a long bus ride on December 24th. Christmas is in full swing round here. There are lights, food and family...but no present for me. I already told my brother I was gonna let him go to the mall and pick out what he wants. My mama the same thing...she's not getting me my gift til the 2nd anyway. That's cool with me.
But on the actually Christmas day I have people with their hands out but they didn't have anything for me. I'm not so much bothered by the not getting a gift(I can buy what I want myself). Its just the whole "gimme, gimme, gimme" nature that people have round this time of year.

Me? I'd just be happy to see my family & friends. How bout you?

Suicidal Movie Characters

Suicidal movie characters...

In the last couple of movies I've seen one of the stars has committed suicide.

For example -

Resident Evil:Extinction - Ashanti's character and some other guy each kill themselves.

30 Days of Night - The title character and some others basically commit suicide to kill a few vampires.

American Gangster - The bad cop shoots himself on the patio while the maid cleans up.

I Am Legend - Will Smith and a grenade.

That is just 4 recent movies that feature almost pointless deaths by the main characters, but let's make a note that 2 movies feature vampires and the other is a zombie movie so there are going to be a lot of deaths.

Maybe I should check out a Disney movie. There are no suicides in those. Matter fact there aren't any deaths at....oh, wait!!! Every Disney movie has....

Call Earlier!!!

So the other day I decide to call my mama and tell her that I don't have to go back to Tech School in January. The problem is I called her at 11:30pm, but she doesn't get home from work till 11:45pm. So I tell my auntie I'll call back then. So I call back and she still isn't there, so I tell my auntie to tell her I'll call her the next day.



Well I go to bed and get into a good sleep. Around 12:45am my phone rings, jarring me from a deep sleep. I usually keep it plugged up by the bed but that night I has it across the room. So I had to stumble over all kinds of sh*t in the dark half awake and answer it. Turns out the number is PRIVATE but I answer anyway. Thing is I'm saying "hello, hello" but no one is answering back. So I get really mad and curse them out and hang up the phone. I even turn it off and go back to sleep.



The next day I get home from school and I notice that I have a voicemail. Its my mama and she says "well its apparent that I must've called you too late Jevon, I apologize; but did you really have to curse your mama out?"

The Art of Bullshiting Pt.1 SPORTS

The real point to life is to "get by", by not really having to learn everything to "get by". Case in point, sports.

For example: Basketball

All you need are a few key points to make yourself look like a knowledgeable person.

Like the top five all-time scorers, the best teams from the 80's, some of the top 50 Greatest Players, and who was on the Dream Team (92').

Football:

All you'll need to know is how many downs, what are the different ways to score, and who are some of the past and present great wides, running backs, and quarterbacks.

Baseball:

Just know a couple key players, the different positions, who has the most home runs, and who may be using steroids.

Just know this small amount of information about each sport and you too can BULLSH*T your way through a conversation/debate.

Smarter & Dumber By The Minute

So today I found out there might be a 75-80% chance that myself, Baker, and Ekker will have to go to Tinker AFB, OK to go back to Tech School. That, pretty much sucks and we didn't really want to do it. That is until I was told that we'd be going on TDY status. Which means that we would be in a housing dorm(that's a good thing) and we won't have to do that Tech School bullsh*t. (marching to school, room inspections, curfew, etc.)

There is another great thing....WE DON'T EVEN HAVE TO PASS THE COURSE!!!

Just got my video camera....plan on doing something with it....not sure what yet....brotha got some extra money in his paycheck....very nice....still not sure if I'm gonna have to go to OK for more Tech School....at least I'm not going on student status...no marching for the kid...speaking of the Kid, KG is killing in Boston....now if we can get JO in a better situation, SC will be good....haven't heard from some people in a minute...I'm not gonna say any names....just hit me up we you get a chance, "fam".....been really busy lately...even on my so-called lazy days, I've had a lot to do...military life I guess.....
